You already know something has changed.

Maybe they’ve stopped eating. Maybe they can’t make it to the door anymore. Maybe you see it in their eyes. That quiet look that tells you they’re tired.

You’ve been dreading this moment. And the thought of loading them into the car, driving to a clinic, sitting under fluorescent lights in a room that smells like antiseptic. It doesn’t feel right. Not for them. Not for you.

There’s a better way to say goodbye.

WHY AT HOME

Home is where they feel safest. It’s where they should say goodbye.

Their favorite spot. Not an exam room.

Your pet stays exactly where they feel most at peace: on the couch, in the garden, on your lap. The last thing they smell is home. The last thing they hear is your voice.

Your whole family. Not a waiting room.

Everyone who loves them can be there. Kids, partners, the other pets. No lobby. No strangers. Just the people and animals who made up their whole world.

All the time you need. Not a 15-minute appointment.

There is no clock running. Your vet stays until you are ready. Hold them, talk to them, say everything you need to say. This is your time.

Five-Star Reviews from Families We’ve Helped

I was so afraid it would hurt her. The vet gave Bailey a sedative first and she just relaxed into my lap like she was falling asleep for a nap. By the time the second part happened she was already completely at peace. No flinch, no reaction. Just quiet.

After a terrible experience at an emergency vet years ago, I was terrified to go through this again. Max passed on his favorite blanket in the living room with all of us around him. Peaceful is the only word.

Our other dog Pepper was able to be there and sniff Biscuit afterward. The vet explained that this would help her understand. It did. She stopped searching for him the next day.

I live alone and could not have carried Cleo to the car. She was 14 and could barely walk. Having someone come to us meant everything. They handled the cremation too. I just had to say goodbye.

I was worried our house would feel different after. It does, but not the way I feared. When I sit on the couch where Rosie passed, I remember how calm she was. It is actually a good memory. I did not expect that.

I kept putting it off because I was scared I was giving up too soon. When I finally called, the vet talked it through with me on the phone for 20 minutes before I even booked. No pressure. I wish I had called sooner. Luna deserved this kind of goodbye.

“Most families tell us they wish they’d called a little sooner, not later. If you’re asking the question, it’s worth having the conversation.”

Wondering if it’s time? You’re not alone.

This is the hardest question any pet owner faces. There's no perfect answer, but there are signs that can help guide you.

They've stopped eating or drinking, even foods they used to love
They can no longer stand, walk, or get comfortable
They hide or withdraw from the family
They seem confused, restless, or cry out for no clear reason
The bad days outnumber the good ones

No pressure. No obligation. Just a conversation.

What’s Included

Everything your family needs.

Gentle Two-Step Sedation

A calming sedative first, so they drift into a deep sleep feeling nothing but peace. Only then is the final medication given. No needles they can see. No pain.

Unhurried Time Together

There is no next appointment. Stay with them as long as you need. Hold them, talk to them, let the other pets say goodbye. This is your time.

Pre-Visit Phone Call

Your vet calls beforehand to walk through exactly what will happen, answer every question, and help you prepare your family, including children and other pets.

Cremation & Transport

We gently take them into our care and coordinate everything with a trusted local crematory. Private or communal, your choice. You never have to make that drive.

Paw Print & Fur Clipping

A handmade clay paw print and a small lock of fur, keepsakes so you always have something to hold onto.

Aftercare & Grief Support

Grief resources, guidance for surviving pets, notification to your family vet, and a follow-up check-in on your family. You are not alone after we leave.

Urns, memorial keepsakes, and additional aftercare options available.

Our promise to you.

Your pet will feel no pain. Your family will not be rushed. And you will never wonder if there was a better way.

That is our promise.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Every visit follows our gentle two-step protocol. First, a calming sedative helps your pet drift into a deep, comfortable sleep, like anesthesia. Once they’re fully relaxed, the final medication is given. They feel nothing but warmth and your presence.

This is the hardest question, and there’s no single answer. We offer a free phone consultation to talk through your pet’s quality of life, no pressure, no obligation. Many families tell us that if you’re asking the question, it’s time to have the conversation.

Every veterinarian in our network is a licensed, experienced professional who specializes in compassionate end-of-life care. When you book, we match you with a local vet and share their name, photo, and credentials so you know exactly who’s coming.

Many families find it helpful. Allowing surviving pets to be present, or to sniff their companion afterward, can reduce searching behavior and help them understand. Your vet will guide you through this.

That’s entirely your choice. Many families include children because the process is peaceful. There’s no distress to witness. Your vet can help you talk to your kids about what to expect beforehand.

We take care of everything. Your pet is gently placed in a comfortable carrier and transported to a trusted local crematory. You choose between private or communal cremation. If you choose private, your pet’s ashes are returned to you along with a certificate.

Our complete in-home visit starts at $XXX, which includes the pre-visit consultation, sedation, euthanasia, paw print, fur clipping, and transport. Cremation is available starting at $XXX. There are no hidden fees and no surprise charges. You’ll see the full cost before you book.

In many cases, yes. We offer same-day and next-day appointments, 7 days a week. Call us at (555) 123-4567 and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate your family’s timing.

Many families worry about this. Most tell us the opposite, that having their pet pass peacefully in a familiar place created a memory of love, not of loss. Your vet can also suggest how to set up the space so it feels right for everyone.

Because we always sedate your pet first, they’re deeply asleep and completely relaxed before the IV is placed. This makes the process smooth and stress-free. Our veterinarians are experienced professionals prepared for any situation.
